Phu Yen’s Charm in 3 Day Itinerary: A Journey through Natural Marvels and Cultural Treasures

The trip was decided within a blink of an eye a, has complete successfully.

Because the weather has been gloomy and rainy these past few days, I did not finalize a specific schedule until I arrived.

DAY 1: North of Phu Yen

🛬 I arrived at Tuy Hoa airport at 7:00 a.m. and took the taxi straight to the homestay.  The first impression was that the airport only had 1 flight for us, so we caught the taxi very quickly.

🏡We went back to the homestay to deposit our things and rented a motorbike to go around. Letters’s Homestay is very lovely and located near the center so it is very convenient to explore around. The owner and staffs here are extremely cute. We were introduced to all the beautiful tourist destinations and delicious restaurants. Our room is a double room, with 2 beds and a private toilet. It comes with a romantic chill corner at the balcony .

🏖The first stop is Ghenh Da Dia. The weather was super sunny and hot, even though it was only 10 am. I was able to enjoy the beautiful natural scenery “blue sea, white sand, golden sunshine”. The basalt rock structure was formed about 200 million years ago, stacked on top of each other to form a unique shape, thanks to volcanic activity in the Van Hoa highlands.

🏖The second location is Ong Cop bridge. Have you been to the longest wooden bridge in Vietnam? The bridge connects the northern villages of An Ninh Tay commune (Tuy An district) with Song Cau town. The bridge is a shortcut leading to other famous landmarks in Phu Yen. The bridge with a length of nearly 800m, about 1.5-1.8 m wide, with a total investment of up to 1 billion in Vietnamese dollars. It has also become a check-in destination for many tourists.

🏖 The third location is Mang Lang Church. Designed in Gothic architecture with many sophisticated motifs. Here also have a cathedral cave in the heart of an artificial hill where “The first book with printed national language” was kept. We discovered great details about our history through the life stories of Saint Andre – a PHU YEN resident who has become first martyred.

🏖 The last stop today is Nghinh Phong Tower. Inspired by historical ancestors legend of “Hundred eggs”. The structure is divided into two parts, each part will have 50 honeycomb-shaped stone blocks sracking on each other. These rocks represent the 100 children in the legend, divided into two halves , half followed mom, the other half followed dad. Or what we was taught: “up to the forest and down to the sea”. The space between the towers is only enough for two people to stand, and every time the wind blows through the gap, it creates sounds, like music. Each sea breeze that blows will create a different piece of music.

DAY 2: South of PHÚ YÊN
🌄 Because we wanted to catch the first rays of sunlight in Vietnam, we headed out at 3:30 am. At about 4:45, the first sunlight shines at the easternmost point of PHU YEN at Hai Dang Dai Lanh, Mui Dien. From the gate, there will be 2 ways to go up. Normally you have to walk 1 km to the top of the lighthouse to Vista point But we were lucky enough to meet the owner of the shop where the car was parked, and he drove us up for a fee of 50,000 vietnam dong one way. Because it was very dark and I had to go through shady bushes, I would chose option 2.

🏖 From here we can also see Bai Mon, a secluded beautiful beach.

🏖The next destination is Vung Ro. This place is similar to O Loan Lagoon, a floating raft restaurant model with diverse fresh seafood. So we just stopped by to check in and then left. There is also the Vung Ro shipless monument here, which marks the historical milestone of the Ho Chi Minh road at sea.

🏖 At about 3:30 p.m., I moved to the “I saw yellow flowers on the green grass” filming set, the sunshine was extremely beautiful.  From here I can see Xep beach, the strait and Yen island in the distance. I can hear the sound of the ocean waves crashing and feel very peaceful.   ^^

🏖 The last stop today is Nhan Tower.  From the tower, you can see the Tuy Hoa skylines.  Nhan Tower bears the typical architectural features of the Cham people.  The tower is associated with the story of the fairy Thien Y A Na coming to earth to teach people living in this land everything from plowing, weaving, spinning… to find ways to make a living.  After the fairy returned to the fairyland, the Champa people, out of nostalgia and wanting to engrave their gratitude to the founder of their nation, built that tower to worship.
.

DAY 3: KỲ CO – EO GIÓ, Quy Nhơn

🏖 Depart from the hotel at 7am and we arrive at Eo Gio first. Here is a pristine beach, under the erosion of water and wind, a beautiful strait has been created with the name Eo Gio. There are many different check-in locations suitable for the virtual living team here, just pick up the camera to get beautiful photos 📷 If you come here, prepare yourself with flowy maxi dresses and prepare to pose. 💃

🏖ngh Then we moved to Ky Co by Cano. On one side is the clear blue sea, on the other side are high rocky mountains, the scenery is extremely wild. This is also considered a small Maldives with wonderful virtual living corners for photography addicts ^^ Here, everyone can swim in the sea, the cool blue water dispels the hot sun of the country. summer.

🏖 Next, we canoe to Bai Dua to snorkel and see the coral, but if you are seasick, you should go snorkeling to see the coral or ride a motorbike because having to sit on a raft is quite unstable and makes you dizzy.

🏖 The tour will take you back to the restaurant to rest and take a fresh water bath.

DAY 4: PHÚ YÊN CITY TOUR

🏖 🏖 On the last day, we woke up a little later because we only went around the city. I chose to eat Jelly fish noodle soup. The sweet and sour taste of the broth along with the crunchiness of the jellyfish and fish cakes.

🏖 🏖 Because it was raining, we decided to go to a special spot but had missed it for the past few days.  That is a temple with a very unique architecture in Phu Yen.  Thanh Luong Pagoda was built with very rustic and natural materials such as coral and shells.  In addition to its special architecture, the pagoda is also known for the story of the statue of Avalokiteśvara floating ashore in a standing position.
