San Francisco and it’s hidden gems

Road trip to North California never has a dull moment, especially during spring break 2016. We planned this last minute trip with tons of exploring, tons of local spots advised from our friends and social media.

Cupid’s Span in the middle of the Embarcadero park gives a great view of Bay Bridge at night, also brings a different perspective of city of love with a huge statue of bow and arrow.

A perfect sunrise view of Golden Gate Bridge can be found at Eagle’s Point Labyrinth in Lands End park. The Labyrinth was constructed by a local artist Eduardo Aguilera back in 2004. It is half mile from famous Sutro Baths, but well hidden by a quarter mile off the Lands End trail. Unfortunately it was vandalized in August 2015. A month after, with the help of 50 volunteers, the Colleen Yerge was able to recreate the core theme of Labyrinth “peace, love and enlightenment” with multi-colored rocks arranged in 11 concentric circles facing toward Golden Gate Bridge.

Another spot for full city view along with the bridge is at Kirby cove of Marin Headlands. The drive there was super super hectic but I guarantee you it’s worth the wait.

San Francisco is a multi cultural city. You should check out Belly Good Cafe & Crepes for funny animal faces ice cream in Japanese town or try Peking Duck , Dimsum at M. Y. China from the one and only Chef Martin Yan.
