Waking up at 5 am to go hiking on  beach trail seems to be a ridiculous idea, but guess what, it’s total worth it. We caught the mesmerizing color of sunlight slowly arise from the horizon. My hiking partner’s hands are a little shaky due to the gravel road and highway speed.

We are right on time for sunrise at Crystal Cove, New Port Beach. The sun is fighting with thick layers of cloud, shining through and starting the day brighter and warmer.

I would never sign myself up for a 5 mile run in the morning on a beach trail but today I did with smooth cool beach breeze and my friend constant encourage. One more thing is crossed off my bucket list. One important thing is that I will be able to count on my friends
” You walked with me
Footprints in the sand
And helped me understand
Where I’m going….”

A blissfully suprised, I found a heart shaped rock just laying on the shore. “Last Christmas I give you my heart…this year to save me to tears, I’ll save it for someone special.”
